The frame fits our 2din players with deep housing.

Installation of a shallow radio is possible but requires reworking of the plates, so technical skills and additional tools are required.

After checking that the frame fits the radio and cockpit, we will start assembling the set by screwing the plates to the radio (depending on the radio casing you have, it may be necessary to modify or make holes in the plates), then we put the masking frame on the radio with the plates and insert it into the pocket, we insert the whole thing without connecting it into the hole in the cockpit in order to adjust the mounting depth of the pocket. Once we determine the depth, pull out the set, pull the radio out of the pocket and proceed to attach the pocket itself in the hole (screw or bend the plates in the pocket), insert the radio to check the fit if ok we pull out, connect the wires, plugs and mount the radio permanently.

Depending on the radio you have, it is possible that you need to modify the plates (in any case, you had to for our android players)

- for a narrow radio (shallow) it was necessary to make (enlarge) holes in the plates because the screws from the set did not pass, they fit the radio)

- for radio with android you need to drill new additional holes

After reworking the plates, the radio jumps into the pocket very nicely and jams in the pocket.

Below is an example of mounting on various players (in a deep housing, shallow as well as radio with android) - in shallow radios it was necessary to enlarge / make holes in the plates to fit the radio.

To remove the radio from your pocket, remove the masking frame, insert the keys to unlock the radio, pull out the radio with plates.
