XENSO Y4 is a multimedia adapter for cars with factory wired Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. It allows you to use these functions without the cable connecting your phone to your car.

After the first pairing, the phone can stay in your pocket, bag or holder. Navigation, music, conversations and compatible apps are available on the factory screen of the car.

Dual Wi-Fi: Connect to your phone and internet at the same time

Two Wi-Fi modules allow you to use wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto and connect the adapter to the Internet at the same time.

You can share the Internet with your device, for example, from your phone’s hotspot. You don't need to disconnect CarPlay or Android Auto to give the adapter network access.

YouTube, Netflix and multimedia with USB

Built-in Android 12 extends the multimedia capabilities of the factory screen. Once the adapter is connected to the internet, you can use YouTube and Netflix. These are the features of the Android device, separate from the CarPlay interface and Android Auto.

XENSO Y4 also allows you to play compatible audio and video files stored on a USB stick.

An internet connection is required to use online content. Netflix requires an active subscription.

Use the video function only when the vehicle is parked in a safe place.

Factory screen, no radio replacement

You connect the adapter to a USB port that supports factory CarPlay or Android Auto. You use the existing display, without mounting an additional screen and without replacing the radio player.

You can switch between the XENSO, CarPlay or Android Auto interface and the original car system. The device also has an HDMI OUT output.

Android 12 and memory 2/16 GB

XENSO Y4 runs Android 12. It is powered by a quad-core A53 processor, which works with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory.

The housing measures 63 × 54 × 12 mm and the device weighs 37 g.

Check compatibility with car and phone

The adapter is designed for cars equipped with wired Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. The USB port alone is not enough: it must support one of these functions.

Apple phones: iPhone 6 or later with iOS 10 or later.

Android phones: compatible smartphones with Android 10 or later; some models may require Android 11 or later.

Before purchasing, check the compatibility of the adapter with your car’s multimedia system and your used phone.
