The OBD2 mode is compatible with US-manufactured OBD2 gasoline vehicles produced after 2004, and OBD2 gasoline vehicles produced in other countries after 2008.

Compatibility Note: This device is not compatible with all vehicles produced before 2008. Furthermore, the OBD function may not support certain American, French, and Italian brands (Citroen, Peugeot, Renault, Fiat, Maserati, Lamborghini), as well as some Japanese models (Suzuki, Mazda 6, Infiniti QX50/Q50/Q501/QX56, Toyota Avanza after 2013, Lexus IS250/EX250/ES300H, Honda Jazz, and CRV), and some KIA and HYUNDAI models (e.g., 2013 Hyundai Sonata, 2017 Kia Soul). It is not compatible with German vehicles produced before 2004. These limitations apply specifically to the OBD data reading functions.
