1. Automatic start of recording - The recorder starts automatically and starts recording when the car ignition is turned on and automatically turns off when the ignition is turned off (with a delay of several seconds). The recorder must be constantly connected to the power supply from the car cigarette lighter socket.

2. Reverse camera with cable 6 or 10 meters (surcharge) - real-time image, undisturbed weather conditions, vehicle length not important.

3. 10-inch, full-format touch screen provides crystal clear images without any lag. HDR, WDR and Auto Adjusting Brightness Streaming Mirror systems make the user experience amazing.

4. Recording in 4K, The front camera captures 2160P and the rear camera 1080P. The wide dynamic range of the systems controlling the adaptation of image parameters allow you to record optimally even in poor visibility by adjusting the exposure time to make the recording readable.

In order to reduce the volume of a single recording and save space on the SD card, the resolution of the front camera is possible to manually set: HD/FullHD/QHD/4K.

5. The 170° wide-angle lens significantly expands the driver’s field of view and allows you to capture every road event from a wider perspective. It allows you to record details even outside the driver's eye area.

6. WDR night mode (Wide Dynamic Range). This function works in car cameras by using appropriate algorithms to analyze image exposure and dynamically changing the values of underexposed and overexposed pixels of monitored scenes in order to show underexposed elements in the image. Thanks to this, we have the ability to accurately record the scene despite high contrast. Thanks to the wide lens and WDR technology, the device performs well even in difficult lighting conditions. The extended dynamic range of the image allows for a clear and detailed image, thanks to the skilful leveling of both too bright and darkened fragments of the recording. Thanks to the WDR function, it is possible to maintain the readability of the entire observed scene.

7. Recording in a loop

The system records both video channels at all times in a loop on the micro SD card (the oldest recordings are overwritten by the latest) and secures the recording in memory automatically when shock or impact is detected by the shock sensor (G-sensor). Security consists in copying a file to a protected folder whose contents are not overwritten by the recording loop.

The length of a single recording can be set to 1/3/5 min.

8. Parking mode

Securing the recording in parking mode occurs after noticing a twitch or shock caused by an event, where the sensitivity of activating the alarm is possible to set.

Watching the parking guard requires drawing a very small amount of electricity from the battery, ranging from a dozen to several dozen mA, but even such a small amount will cause the battery to discharge after a few days, which is why the parking menu assumes a maximum parking time of 10 hours, after which the device is completely disconnected from the power supply from the car.

9. Automatic monitoring and start

The power supply has an ACC initiation input, which connected to +12V DC after the ignition provides switching off, on and going into parking standby depending on the position of the car ignition.

☝Alternatively, the ACC cable can be permanently connected to +12VDC together with the BAT+ power supply cable. This will cause continuous recording of images from both cameras but loss of the device’s automatic shutdown function. This involves greater current consumption (several hundred mA) with the screen on, which can be lowered (to below 100mA) by activating the screensaver or manually turning off the screen with the button for parking time.

⚠ To ensure proper operation of the device in parking mode, it is necessary to connect the power supply in the fuse box using a dedicated power supply.

10. GPS antenna

In the event of a collision or police control, information about the exact position of the vehicle or its speed at a given moment is often needed, which is why the recorder is also equipped with the ability to record these parameters. Each recorded video frame is accompanied by information about the speed and GPS coordinates of the vehicle.

☝GPS Logger function - provides marking each frame of the film with GPS position coordinates in which the vehicle was located at the moment, along with a satellite-synchronized timestamp.

Determining the current position of the vehicle on an ongoing basis. Control the route and current position of your car. Each recording secured by the device has a built-in GPS position marker, time and speed.

Recordings are saved in a special way that allows you to read GPS coordinates saved on recordings by a dedicated HIT GPS Player program, which allows you to visualize the course of the car route on the map and play it along with the recorded footage from cameras frame by frame on a PC or laptop with Windows.

This makes it easy to find a recorded video presenting the situation on the road from a given place selected on the map.

The program is recorded to an SD card automatically when formatting it on the device.

11. Wireless screen for smartphone

After activating the phone connection, applications from the phone are available on the screen of the device and you can freely use navigation, multimedia, the Internet or phone calls

1. Android Auto (⚠ Android smartphones and the Android Auto app installed) - connect the HE502 to your smartphone to access navigation, play music using Siri or Google voice assistant, allowing you to make phone calls and much more.

2. Apple Carplay (⚠ Any iPhone with Carplay) - makes it easy to access iPhone features including calls, notifications, messages, maps, media, and more.

3. MIrror Link (⚠ Android and iPhone) - transfers the image from the smartphone screen to the device screen one to one.

☝In remote connection mode to your phone via Android Auto, a preview from any camera is constantly available.

⚠ In the highest models of premium phones, e.g. Samsung galaxy S25 ultra, very often you need to go into the programming options of the phone and allow Android Auto wirelessly.

Applications compatible with Android Auto and Carplay include:

• ➡ phone calls and text messages (e.g. voice reading and dictation of messages);
• ➡ instant messaging (e.g. Messenger, WhatsApp, or Skype);
• ➡ applications, navigation, Google Maps, Yanosik;
• ➡ playing music (from phone memory or e.g. Spotify, Tidal, Deezer, and Google Play Music).
• ➡ It is possible to remotely receive images from cameras and control the device using an application on a smartphone via a WiFi wireless network, which is emitted by a built-in module compliant with the 802.11 a/b/g/n standard

12. Stereo sound output

Hands-free phone functions and listening to music from the device can be realized using:

♫♪ FM transmission from the device to the car radio,\

♫♪ connecting the mini Jack cable to the AUX input in the car,

♫♪ using the built-in speaker

♫♪ Bluetooth connections

Connection via cable eliminates noise heard in radio transmission, and the AUX output of the device is equipped with active filters of high and low frequencies. A module was also used to reduce the noise generated by the connection using a cable, through an impedance fit.

⚠ BlueTooth is necessary to maintain the connection of the smartphone with the device in Android Auto, Carplay or Mirror Link mode, therefore it is not possible to transmit sound via BT

Installation of the device:

✅ Standard handle for cockpit

For fastening, an extremely durable double-sided adhesive made of polyurethane foam with a shape matching the mounting base is used. It should be applied to a clean, dry and degreased gasoline extraction surface of the cockpit in a previously selected place ensuring convenient touch operation of the display and full visibility of the device screen.

It is also possible to strengthen the connection with screws through the holes provided for this purpose in the base.

It should be noted that the view obtained for the front camera was as unobstructed as possible, the frame captured by it was as large as possible, giving a full picture of the situation on the road.

✅ Telescopic vacuum holder

As a ☝additional☝ mounting option, we recommend a holder for the so-called. "suction cup" can be mounted to the cockpit or glass, depending on your preference. Extremely flexible, sticky, soft microrubber coating the contact surface ensures a highly durable screen mount, and the tripod design adjustable in all directions gives the possibility of any orientation and position of the screen. Connection of power supply and rear camera:

✅ Parking power supply:

The cables derived from the power supply are terminated with car mini fuses, making it easy to connect them to the power supply in the vehicle fuse box.

The BAT+ cable should be installed in the fuse socket, where there is a constant voltage of +12V at all times, even when the ignition is turned off.

The ACC cable is a trigger input to which a constant voltage of +12V must be given, which wakes the device from hibernation to normal operation and prevents its further sleep. It can be any fuse socket in the box, which is powered after switching the ignition to the first position, i.e. in a typical case, e.g. radio fuse, or dashboard backlight. Usually, it is not even necessary to replace the existing fuse with a fuse, which terminates the power supply cable, because there are several free sockets in the box, which are powered only after unlocking the ignition.

✅ Car power adapter:

The plug fits into the car cigarette lighter socket. This type of power supply does not ensure that the parking functions of the device are maintained or automatically activated after turning the ignition to the "I" position.

✅ Rear camera

The camera is connected to the device using a cable terminated with a mini Jack 3,5mm plug from the screen side and a 4-pin connector from the camera side. Although our camera is waterproof (IP67 class), the same connector is not, so it is necessary to protect the connector from moisture with the included heat shrink cover.

The camera can be installed inside the car on the headliner behind the rear window (darkened windows are not an obstacle) or outside, in any convenient place, or using a dedicated license plate frame with a socket for mounting the camera, available in a separate offer.

The reversing camera mode together with the auxiliary lines is activated automatically on the screen when the reverse gear is turned on, provided that the activation cable is connected to the +12V DC reversing light in the car.
