Does the mound heater at start-up?

No. The Panda U7 has a heavier heating cylinder that provides a more stable combustion. At the first start, a slight smell may be noticeable, which disappears after a short time of work.

Is the fuel pump loud?

No. A new, silent pump type was used. There is no characteristic “ticking” that occurs in older models.
