In the context of start-up, two parameters are crucial – peak current and inrush current. The value of 4000A is responsible for the maximum energy pulse needed to “break” the resistance when starting the engine. In turn, 800A is the current supplied during the spin of the starter, i.e. at the most demanding moment of the entire process. This combination of parameters allows for effective starting of vehicles even with a significantly discharged battery. In practice, this means greater predictability of operation – the device provides energy exactly when it is needed most.
