According to the instruction manual of the device, starting the engine after connecting it should last a maximum of 3 seconds. This is enough time to start a working engine. Longer start-up attempts are not allowed because a very high current flows through the device and the jumper wires at this point, which can lead to overload.

The fuse mounted in the cables has a protective function - it protects both the device itself and the electrical system of the vehicle. In the event of its melting or damage, this means that the protection has worked properly, protecting the system from major failure.

The correct procedure for using the device is as follows:

• Connect the jumper wires to the device.
• Connect the wires to the vehicle battery (red wire to the positive pole “+”, black wire to the negative pole “–”).
• Start the engine without exceeding the time of 3 seconds.
• After starting, you need to immediately disconnect the jumper wires, starting with the black wire (minus).
• Finally, disconnect the wires from the device.

It is important that the jumper cables are connected directly to the poles of the battery. Connecting them at other points of the vehicle's electrical system is inconsistent with the instructions and may lead to malfunction of the device or its damage.
