Green water in the pool is a common problem especially during sunny, warm weather. Algae reproduce very quickly and are able to cover the walls and bottom of the pool with a slippery, greenish layer within a few hours. To prevent green water and algae growth, in addition to chlorine, use the antialgae/algicide Algae Fighter I - a means for algae and algae. Already a small amount of this agent will cause that algae in the pool will not spread and effectively eliminate the problem of green water.

Algae Fighter I is a broadband preparation designed to combat algae, bacteria, algae, yeast fungi and viruses in swimming pools. Algae Fighter I also has the ability to remove white or green turbidity of water and slippery tarnish on the bottom and walls of the pool. The agent has a strong destructive effect on algae, algae, bacteria and viruses and also effectively prevents their formation. Completely chlorine-free, non-foaming, pH neutral in usable dissolution without taste and smell. It keeps the water in excellent condition even at high air temperatures. It works immediately after application. Regular use of Glon Fighter I also significantly improves water clarity. Thanks to this, the use of the pool becomes safer and does not expose you to microbial infections. At the same time, the water becomes fresher and makes a more pleasant impression for a longer time.

The preparation should be used prophylactically after disinfection of pool water by chlorine or oxygen method. The recommended dosage is 50-100 ml per 10 m3 of water every week or 10-15 ml per 10 m3 of water every day. The calculated amount of the preparation should be poured along the edge of the pool into the water. Turn on the filter pump to ensure thorough mixing. The total glonocidal and bactericidal effect is obtained after 72h after application of the preparation. Dosing is best carried out in the evening after the bath. The preparation can also be dosed using an automatic dosing station. When used together with the recommended chlorine preparations from GOTIX, the required doses can be reduced up to 10 times.

✅Step one – pH adjustment

The pH value is the most important parameter that affects the effectiveness of the disinfection process. Therefore, its size should be controlled and maintained at a constant level. The ideal pH range is between 7,0-7,4. Our preparations for increasing the value of this parameter: pH plus granules, pH plus liquid; for lowering: pH minus granules, pH minus liquid.

✅Step two – disinfection

Water in the pool should be a source of well-being and health, and therefore must be safe for those enjoying water enjoyment. Every person bathing in the pool brings particles of organic compounds and thousands of bacteria into the water. Therefore, it is necessary to use a disinfection process effective enough to ensure the safety of people using bathing. We recommend for chlorine disinfection: Chlorotix Shock granules and Chlorotix Multi quick tablets (for quick disinfection). For oxygen disinfection: Chlortix OXY, active oxygen tablets 20g.

✅Step three – fighting algae

Algae are single- or multicellular organisms that produce organic compounds from inorganic chemicals contained in water, which are a breeding ground for bacteria in the water and a source of various types of contaminants. They reproduce very quickly and within a few hours are able to cover the slippery layer of the wall, stairs and the bottom of the pool. Therefore, it is necessary to inhibit the growth of algae and eliminate them from pool water. For this purpose, algaecides should be used. GOTIX Polska systematically recommends the use of quaternary amines in the form of the following preparations: Algae I, Algae Foghter.

✅Step four – coagulation and filtration

Some particles of contaminants are so small that filters cannot catch them. To remove them, coagulants or flocking agents should be used, which cause smaller molecules to cluster into larger ones or absorb them on the surface of the flocculant.
