ℹ Product for professional use!

💦 Efficiency and action

Sillar Sodium Hypochlorite exhibits effectiveness at very low concentrations - already 0,65% solution is sufficient for effective action in just a few minutes.

Actions:

✅ virucidal against norovirus, adenovirus and Vaccinia virus

✅ bactericidal

✅ fungicidal

💦 Safe and simple use

Simply add the right amount of liquid to the water or directly to the disinfection surfaces. In the case of swimming pools, it is also necessary to maintain an appropriate level of water chlorine and to regulate pH.

💦 What is its application?

✅Disinfection of pool and drinking water

The product works at a concentration of 0,65% at 20°C:

  • Disinfection time for bacteria: 5 minutes
  • Disinfection time for mushrooms: 15 minutes
  • Use the pool when the free chlorine content of the pool water reaches between 0,3 and 0,6 mg/l.
  • After the disinfection process, the free chlorine residues should comply with the values specified in the regulations.

✅ Disinfection of surfaces in contact with food and animal nutrition

  • Before disinfection, the surface should be washed.
  • Use the preparation only on alkali-resistant surfaces.

The product works at a concentration of 0,7% at 20°C:

  • Disinfection time for bacteria: 5 minutes
  • Disinfection time for mushrooms: 15 minutes

At a concentration of 2% at temp. 20ºC:

  • Disinfection time for norovirus and adenovirus: 5 minutes

At a concentration of 1% at temp. 20ºC:

  • Disinfection time for Vaccinia virus: 5 minutes
  • After disinfection, the room should be ventilated until the irritating smell of chlorine disappears.
  • After the required disinfection time, rinse surfaces in contact with food with drinking water quality water.
  • Use in well-ventilated areas. In case of insufficient ventilation, use adequate respiratory protection.

How to use for disinfecting water in the pool?

1 Check the concentration of the preparation

The most commonly available solutions are:

  • 10 to 15% NaClO – used for disinfection of pool water (e.g. technical or industrial measures)
  • Domestos) are not intended for swimming pools – may contain additives and thickeners

2 Standard dosage for sodium hypochlorite 10 to 15%:

  • 150 – 200 ml / 10 m³ water per day – as maintenance dose
  • In shock disinfection (e.g. green water): 500 – 1000 ml / 10 m³

Example:

You have a swimming pool with a capacity of 30 m³ (i.e. 30 000 liters):

  • Daily dose: 450 – 600 ml
  • Shock dose: 1,5–3 litres

3 Measure chlorine levels

  • Ideal concentration of chlorine free in pool water: 1,0 – 1,5 mg/l (ppm)
  • Use strip, tablet or electronic testers
  • Do not exceed 3 ppm – higher values are harmful to humans and can destroy the lining of the pool

4 When to add?

  • Preferably in the evening, when no one uses the pool anymore – chlorine decomposes in the sun
  • After pouring, run the pump/filtration for a few hours to mix the solution well

5 Precautions

  • Use gloves and safety glasses
  • Do not mix with other chemicals, especially acids
  • Store in a cool, dark place, tightly closed

6 Complete other parameters

Good chlorine performance requires:

  • pH water: 7,0 – 7,4
  • Water hardness and alkalinity also matter – it is worth controlling
