Inverter heat pumps for swimming pool Hewalex PCWBi-B are equipped with a colorful, touch LED controller that allows us, among others:

Low cost with high comfort of pool water heating

PCWBi heat pumps, using mostly renewable energy, ensure low costs of heating pool water. Due to the low operating temperatures, PCWBi heat pumps achieve particularly high operating efficiency. The COP for the PCWBi pumps temporarily exceeds 16 (in section A27/W26).

NOTE: In the case of heat pumps intended for heating pool water, energy efficiency classes are not suitable, as in the case of heat pumps used for heating buildings or heating domestic hot water.

The biggest advantage of the Mitsubishi inverter is the work culture. At lower loads, the compressor operates almost silently. Thanks to this, relaxation in the pool or rest on the terrace takes place in absolute peace, without the cumbersome hum known from older devices.

Pool heat pumps PCWBi-B thanks to the use of an inverter compressor and fan covers, work with previously unattainable minimum volume levels. The level of 36 dB(A) at a distance of 1 meter, achieved with the smoothly reduced efficiency of the heat pump means that when relaxing in the garden, we will hear primarily louder birdsong. So for the highest demands, when the house is located in an extremely quiet area, the choice of heat pump PCWBi-B will have additional justification.

Special solutions for the construction of the PCWBi heat pump

The PCWBi heat pump is specially designed to work for pool water heating. The pumps of the PCWBi series use modern inverter rotary compressors. Smooth regulation of heating power allows you to adjust the work to temporary thermal needs, but also reduce the volume level of the working device. The special design has a shell-tube heat exchanger built into the heat pump, where the refrigerant transfers heat directly to the flowing pool water. Protection of the heat pump against possible loss of water flow is provided by a built-in flow rate sensor.

HEAT PUMP PROTECTION FUNCTION AGAINST FREEZING

The people on the evaporator cause disruption and decreased airflow, which in turn results in less free heat consumption and more compressor operation. Defrosting depends on the indications of the temperature sensor placed on the evaporator.

Convenient and quick installation of the PCWBi heat pump directly by the pool

The PCWBi heat pump has a lower noise level compared to other models of this power. This is due to the use of an inverter compressor, which reduces performance smoothly and at the same time the volume level. For the PCWBi 13,0kW-B heat pump, the volume level can be only 37 dB(A), which does not prevent them from being installed directly by the pool.

Convenient to use controller with the ability to operate via smartphone application

The controller resistant to external conditions is built on a heat pump. The settings include m.in.:

• operating mode selection: AUTOMATIC / HEATING / COOLING
• working time intervals, e.g. for 2-zone energy purchase tariffs
• setting the required pool water temperature
• alarm states, e.g. lack of water flow

With the mWiFi module, it is possible to control and preview the work using a smartphone application (application in language. English).

The PCWBi 17,8kW-B air/water heat pump is designed for direct connection to the pool water process circuit. It is used to heat water, as well as to cool it if necessary. The distinguishing feature of the device is the smooth regulation of heating power thanks to the use of an inverter compressor.

GALVANIZED STEEL HOUSING

The housing made of galvanized steel in a universal subdued color retains its properties in subsequent years of operation, being resistant to external conditions.

Differences between PCWBi-B heat pump and PCWBi-C

Hewalex offers two types of inverter pool heat pumps: PCWBi-B and PCWBi-C. Both models differ not only in appearance and color, but also in key design features.

PCWBi-B heat pumps are equipped with Mitsubishi compressors. In addition, the method of ejecting air from the fan is carried out sideways and from the bottom, contributes to reducing noise during operation. Due to the above design differences, PCWBi-B heat pumps are one of the quietest devices of this type on the market.

PCWBi-C heat pumps, on the other hand, are equipped with Gree compressors and have a standard air ejection method.

• The maximum salinity of pool water is 10g NaCl/litre of water.
