2 WAYS TO MEASURE

Thanks to the special overlay included in the set, it is possible to measure body temperature in 2 ways. The overlay is used for frontal measurement, the thermometer without an overlay is designed for measurement in the ear.

COLOR DISPLAY

Depending on the result, the color of the display changes. When the result is equal to or less than 37,4 °C, the screen will highlight it in green. With results in the range of 37,5 °C-37,9 °C - yellow screen. Red indicates a high temperature above 38°C.

How to measure temperature with HAXE non-contact thermometer?

The infrared device does not have to come into contact with the body, so how to measure the temperature with a HAXE non-contact thermometer? It is very simple and the whole procedure takes less than a minute.

1. Before the first use, insert the batteries into the device
2. Turn on the device with a large measuring button.
3. Use the MODE button to choose whether you are measuring your body temperature or another object.
4. Set the non-contact thermometer at right angles to the object at a distance of approx. 1 centimeter (or apply to the forehead).
5. Press the measurement button.
6. Read the result from the screen.

What to watch out for when measuring temperature?

In order for the result of measuring body temperature with a non-contact thermometer to be reliable, several rules must be observed.

• Make sure that the skin is dry, clean remove makeup and oily creams from the forehead.
• Before measuring, brush off the hair covering the forehead.
• If necessary, remove the hair from the forehead.
• The thermometer should be in a room at the same temperature as the test person or object for at least 30 minutes before measurement.
• Do not measure on scarred skin, in acute dermatitis or in case of any injuries to the forehead
• After physical exertion, a hearty meal and staying outside, wait 30 minutes.
