The Hyundai WS 2450 meteorological station is a home measuring set designed to monitor basic weather parameters and microclimatic conditions in amateur applications. The device measures indoor and outdoor air temperature and humidity, and displays an animated weather forecast, lunar phases, and minimum and maximum values for basic indications.

The set consists of a main unit with a color display and an external temperature and humidity sensor, communicating wirelessly in the 433,92 MHz band. The model is also equipped with a radio synchronized clock with DCF-77 signal, calendar, alarm clock and temperature and humidity alerts for internal and external indications.

Temperature and humidity measurement

The Hyundai WS 2450 monitors indoor and outdoor air temperature and humidity, allowing you to keep track of indoor and outdoor conditions. The station also displays an animated weather forecast, lunar phases, and maximum and minimum values for basic parameters.

The screen also has a humidity comfort index and a mold index, calculated on the basis of temperature and humidity. In practice, this increases the usefulness of the device in the daily monitoring of the microclimate in the apartment, bedroom, children's room, basement or other rooms exposed to moisture.

Possibility of expanding the system

The station works with additional external sensors Hyundai HYUWSSENZOR825. The main unit supports up to 3 external sensors, which allows you to extend monitoring with additional rooms or measurement zones, e.g. bedroom, garage, basement or greenhouse.

The mold index has practical significance in less ventilated rooms: This indicator is calculated based on temperature and humidity and shows the risk of mold growth on a scale from no risk to high level. This is a useful feature, e.g. in bedrooms, basements, bathrooms and other places exposed to moisture.

Expansion with additional sensors increases the usability of the station: The possibility of cooperation with three external sensors allows you to monitor several zones at the same time, not only outside the building.
