Advanced transducers
The Px8 headphones boast 40mm drivers with carbon diaphragms, inspired by the latest Bowers & Wilkins 700 series loudspeakers. The applied solution translated into an extremely short response time and low distortion, which results in an accurate, yet natural and engaging sound.
Precise soundstage
The drivers in the Px8 model, as in the case of Bowers & Wilkins Px7 S2 headphones, are positioned at the right angle inside each ear cup. In this way, it was possible to obtain a constant distance of the membrane from the listener’s ear on its entire surface. This allows you to enjoy an immersive and precise soundstage and the best sounding Bowers & Wilkins headphones.
Works with aptX Adaptive codec
The headphones use Bluetooth 5.2 and Qualcomm codecs, including the aptX Adaptive codec. Together with efficient digital DSP signal processing, high sound quality has been achieved. In addition, audio files can be played in high resolution, up to 24 bits, which are available on selected streaming platforms, such as Tidal.
Up to 30 hours wireless music playback
Powerful lithium-ion battery provides up to 30 hours. wireless operation on a single charge. The set also includes an audio cable terminated with a 3,5 mm jack plug, which allows you to use the Px8 as a wired model.
Cut yourself off from the noise
The designers equipped the Px8 over-ear headphones with an improved hybrid active noise reduction technique (Hybrid Noise Cancellation). It uses a set of microphones integrated with the ear cups, effectively isolating the user from ambient noise.
Ambient Pass-Through
Ambient Pass-Through mode allows you to control the level of sounds coming from outside. Therefore, you do not need to remove the Px8 to stay in touch with the environment.
Adaptive Wear Sensor
Bowers & Wilkins Px8 On-Ear Headphones feature an adaptive wearable sensor. Its task is to automatically stop playback after removing the headphones and resume after reapplying them. Just run this feature in the intuitive Bowers & Wilkins Music mobile app for Android or iOS devices.
Intuitive application
From the application you can access such functionalities as m.in. sound correction, ANC level adjustment or accurate battery charge indicator. It is worth noting that with the advent of Px8, the application gained an update of direct audio streaming from a mobile device to headphones (from Tidal, Deezer and Qobuz).
