The oldest recordings will be automatically replaced with new ones, without having to remove the disk or reformat it. Yes, the kit can be started on its own. Just connect the equipment to the power supply, and then use the app on your CamHipro phone, according to the instructions, configure the cameras to the local wifi network.

2. What is the maximum distance between the DVR and the camera?

The main determinant is the power of your WiFi router, it determines the distance between the cameras and the router, the recorder itself is connected wired to the Internet network.

ATTENTION! - WiFi range is very individual. The range can be affected by the thickness and number of walls as well as m.in the number of WiFi networks, microwaves, mirrors, high voltage poles, etc. Before installing cameras, we recommend configuring them and thoroughly testing the quality of your network.

3. Can the WiFi signal be amplified?

In case of problems with wifi range, several solutions can be applied.

1) The use of an additional WiFi repeater to strengthen your wifi network,

2) Configuration of cameras via external signal repeater. In this case, the signal passes on the principle: recorder -> wifi router -> repeater -> camera, making the signal much stronger.

3) Mounting stronger antennas to cameras than basic ones that have a gain of 3dBi

4. What happens when the internet stops working?

When the Internet in the local wifi network disappears, the remote preview of the DVR through the application on the phone will be lost. The equipment itself will continue to record images from cameras and the transmission will take place on the local network.

5. How to connect the DVR to the Internet?

The recorder must be connected wired to a router that has access to the Internet. Alternatively, an Access point device can be connected to the DVR, which will connect to the local Wi-Fi network (no such device is included).

6. Can I have a preview on my phone?

Yes, you can. The recorder must first be connected to the Internet and configured with the CamHiPro mobile application.

7. How to connect the disk to the recorder?

Unscrew the top cover of the recorder, connect the drive with two wires (SATA + power supply), and then attach the screws to the base of the recorder.

8. How to get an image from the DVR?

The recorder should be connected to the TV or monitor via VGA or HDMI connector (input). Once connected, the start screen should appear. The first time you connect, the DVR configuration wizard will appear.

9. Can I connect the DVR to my laptop with VGA/HDMI cable?

No, laptops only have an output, not a video input. This prevents you from getting the image this way.

10. Can the cameras be mounted outside?

Yes, the cameras have a sealed housing with IP66 rating and can be mounted outdoors. When installing, we recommend properly securing the connection of the camera socket with the wiring.
