✳ To choose the right nozzle, two values must be taken into account: the width of the nozzle jet and the size of the nozzle hole (paint density).

✔ Nozzle jet width: The first digit indicates the jet width we want to get. We can calculate this by multiplying the first digit by 5 cm. For example, if the first digit was 5, the width of the stream would be 5 x 5 cm = 25 cm. This means that when holding the gun at a distance of 30 cm from the surface, we would get a stream of 25 cm wide.

✔ Nozzle hole size (paint density): The last two numbers indicate the size of the hole in the nozzle, which affects the paint density. The larger the number, the denser the paint. Choosing the right hole size depends on the type of paint and desired density. For example, if we have a nozzle marked 0,015", it means that the hole in the nozzle has a diameter of 0,015 inches, which indicates a relatively dense paint.
