☑ HOW DOES A SAUSAGE FILLER WORK? ☑

A sausage stuffer is a device that allows controlled filling of a casing (natural or synthetic casing) with various types of filling, such as meat, spices and other ingredients. The process of operation of the stuffer is relatively simple :

1. Preparing the filling

Prepare the meat and other ingredients for the filling . You can grind them or mix them with spices and possibly other additives.

2. Preparation of the casing:

Clean the sausage casing (natural casing or synthetic casing) and prepare it for filling. In the case of a natural casing, it should be rinsed and soaked in water to make it flexible and ready to be filled.

3. Loading the stuffer:

Place the ready mixture of ingredients in the stuffer

4. Filling the casing:

Pull the cover over the stuffer nozzle . The nozzle is the tip through which the filling is pushed onto the casing. By controlling the filling speed and pressure, you can obtain even and properly filled sausages.

5. Forming the sausage:

As the filling is pushed onto the casing, the sausage forms into a long, continuous tube. You can control the length of the sausage by stopping the filling at the right moment.

6. Sausage tying:

After filling the sausage, the filling is usually evenly distributed inside the casing. The casing can then be tied at regular intervals to form individual sausages, so-called loops

7. Further processing:

The sausages can then be cooked, smoked or dried, depending on the type of effect you want to achieve
