ALMAFLOOR P21 GREEN is a two-component, solvent-free adhesive based on polyurethane resins.

It creates a durable, highly flexible weld and is used primarily for joining mats-sheets from synthetic grasses. It shows very good adhesion to linoleum and other materials used in laying sports systems based on synthetic grass. Thanks to the use of high-quality raw materials, ALMAFLOOR P21 GREEN can be applied in extreme conditions: increased humidity and low temperature.

Note: NOVOL has undergone rebranding of its brand, currently the products are manufactured under the ALMA-COLOR brand, all parameters and properties have been preserved.

SCOPE OF APPLICATION :

Rules of conduct:

Artificial grass linings are glued exclusively on special dry bonding tapes.

Components A and B are mixed together in an appropriate ratio using a mechanical stirrer. The mixing time is about 3-5 min depending on the mixing intensity. In order to thoroughly mix both components A and B and avoid defects of the finished product, the mixture should be poured into another clean container and mixed again. The mixture prepared in this way is applied using B11 gear putty or using special machines for applying glue to dry bonding tapes. Then, on evenly applied glue, mats with artificial grass are applied and pressed. Attention should be paid to the central arrangement of the connecting tape. It is not recommended to use pressure rollers.

The adhesive should be distributed on the bonding tape.

Preparation of the foundation:

Concrete foundation should be made in accordance with the principles of construction art with the following arrangement of layers:

– concentrated sand,

– gravel or mashing,

– concrete C20/25 blurred smoothly, dilated, permissible differentials: 3mm over a 3m section, slope of the surface 0,5-0,8%.

- compacted hard substrate protected with agrotextile

Immediately before laying the grass, check the moisture content of the substrate.

Mixing ratio:

Component A: 7 parts by weight

Component B: 1 part by weight

Applied substrates:

– concrete,

– asphalt concrete

- hardened surfaces

- terrace and other garden foundations

Application conditions:

Air temperature: 8÷30 C

Substrate temperature: 8÷30 C

Relative humidity:30÷80%

Consumption:

Using squeegees B11 – 0,8÷1,1 kg/m2

Opening time (work):

40-60 minutes at 20°C.

Curing time:

24 hours at 20 C (full strength properties of the adhesive is obtained after 5 days). In the case of lower temperatures, it is possible to speed up the curing time by using ALMA product called Plus 750.

Cleaning equipment:

Solvent for nitrocellulose products.

Conditions and storage time:

Store in dry and cool rooms away from sources of fire and heat.

Avoid exposure to sunlight.

The contents of the pack should be protected from moisture.

ALMAFLOOR P21 GREEN component A adhesive: 12 months at 20°C.

ALMALOOR P21 GREEN component B adhesive (hardener): 6 months at 20°C.
