FEATURES:

The meter is microprocessor-controlled, ensuring high accuracy. A specially developed algorithm ensures ease of use and initial auto-calibration after power-on.

The instrument's LCD display shows the measured gas concentration in two scales:

• Gas concentration as a percentage of the lower explosive limit (% LEL)
• Gas concentration in ppm (parts per million).

The instrument uses a high-quality semiconductor sensor TGS 2630 from FIGARO, which detects the following gases:

1. Hydrogen - H2 (hydrogen), including hydrogen with nitrogen (5% hydrogen, 95% nitrogen)

The sensor structure contains a heater that causes rapid evaporation of the gas that has penetrated it during measurement. Placing the sensor on a flexible arm allows measurements to be made even in hard-to-reach places.

The audible alarm generates sounds with a frequency that varies depending on the gas concentration (the higher the concentration, the higher the sound). The user can activate a vibration alarm, which is active when the audible signal is heard.

The keyboard containing 4 buttons allows the meter to be operated in an intuitive and "user-friendly" way.

The user can use many additional functions to facilitate measurements:

• Gas type selection
• Measurement range (sensitivity) adjustment
• Last measurement result memory
• Audible signal threshold selection (from which ppm the audible signal is active)
• Vibration alarm activation
• Battery voltage reading
• Possibility to turn on a flashlight illuminating the measurement location
• Possibility to program a password used when turning on the instrument.

The meter is powered by 4 AA 1.2V/2600mAh rechargeable batteries. They are charged with a charger (included), connected to the meter's power socket. We also supply an adapter that allows charging from a car cigarette lighter socket.

A red LED lights up next to the power socket during charging.

Please charge the batteries for 10-12 hours. The LED does not turn off after they are charged. There is no risk of "overcharging" them because the detector has a built-in current limiting element. During charging, the temperature of the batteries rises to safe limits. It is recommended that the detector be switched off during charging. Fully charged batteries have a total voltage in the range of 5.2 - 5.6 V. When the battery voltage drops to 3.8 V, the device stops working.

• Spare batteries can be easily replaced.
• Instead of rechargeable batteries, AA 1.5V alkaline batteries ("finger batteries") can be used - but they must not be charged in the device.
