KIDDE MTG3000H Explosive Gas Sensor With Power Supply

The MTG-3000H sensor is designed to monitor rooms for the presence of natural gas (LNG, methane), propane, butane (or a mixture thereof).

The device continuously measures the concentration of gas in the surrounding air. If gas escape is detected, it activates optical and acoustic alarm signalling. The alarm turns off when the gas concentration falls below the sensor activation threshold.

MTG-3000H has an auto-diagnostic system that monitors the sensor and internal circuits. In case of incorrect operation, a yellow LED lights up informing about the detection of a fault.

The sensor is powered by a safe 12V DC voltage via the AC adapter provided in the kit. It can be installed in rooms where the temperature does not fall below -10°C and does not rise above 40°C (periodically -20 ~ 50°C) and the relative humidity does not exceed 95%.

It can be connected to a car cigarette lighter socket via a special plug (available separately). The plug allows the use of the m.in sensor. in cars, motor boats, on yachts and wherever there is a suitable socket.

Recommended installation places: kitchen rooms equipped with a gas kitchen, boiler rooms with natural gas or propane butane stoves, rooms in which gas appliances such as cylinders, meters, gas pipes, school chemical laboratories are located
