AlgoSplit eliminates even the most resistant filamentous algae within a few minutes to 24 hours. Immediate release of active oxygen destroys the cellular structure of algae and kills them quickly. Dead algae are pushed to the surface of the water mirror, which makes them easy to remove mechanically, e.g. Landing net. The remaining algae accumulate in filters or sink to the bottom of the tank, where they are broken down by bacteria. The preparation supports the work of beneficial microorganisms responsible for the decomposition of sediments, dead algae and silt. Effectively eliminates unpleasant odors, increases oxygenation and water transparency. It is successfully used for oxygen deficiency problems in deeper parts of the water reservoir. It does not contain harmful biocides (e.g. monolinuron) and heavy metals (e.g. copper sulphate). The preparation used in recommended doses is safe for humans, plants and fish and other aquatic organisms.

Application: fish ponds, swimming ponds, natural ponds, retention reservoirs, lakes, Koi ponds, cascades and garden streams.

Application method: the preparation can be used repeatedly during the season. It works selectively and by contact. It should be spread evenly over the surface of the water reservoir before noon or directly onto the filamentous algae. Do not sprinkle directly on the leaves of aquatic plants protruding above the water surface. Dead algae and sediment are best removed using a for ponds vacuum cleaner. Then, apply PhosSorb phosphate absorber and EcoGerm Ponds bacteria, which will prevent further invasion of filamentous algae.

Dosage: use 1 kg of the preparation per 30,000 l of water. In case of large amounts of algae, the dose can be increased up to three times. As a preventive measure, use half the recommended dose once a week. Recommended doses should be followed.

Before administering the preparation, check the KH (carbonate hardness) and pH (acidity level) of the water. In case:

• pH is above 8.5, first use pH Minus,

• KH is less than 5.5 (soft water), PondStabil should be applied first.

Attention! When applying the preparation, general safety precautions should be followed and protective gloves should be worn. Do not allow the preparation to come into contact with skin or eyes – it may cause irritation. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a cool, dry place, at temperatures above freezing.

Worth knowing:

• PhosSorb is recommended after use of AlgoSplit to bind phosphates released into water. This preparation will bind the main nutrients that cause the development of filamentous algae.

• Thanks to active oxygen, AlgoSplit quickly destroys filamentous algae, oxygenates water in the tank and supports the decomposition of sediments and silting.

• AlgoSplit can be used to prevent oxygen deficiency during the summer (spirits) as well as to provide oxygen during the winter.

• The preparation also fights mucous membranes living in symbiosis with filamentous algae, thus increasing the effectiveness of water filtration processes.

• AlgoSplit is fully biodegradable. The active substance of the preparation (hydrogen peroxide) decomposes after a few moments into water and oxygen.
