The product is 100% biodegradable.
FadeAlgenVernichter destroys even the most resistant filamentous algae within 24 hours by immediately releasing active oxygen. Immediate oxidation destroys the cellular structure of filamentous algae and kills them quickly. Dead algae are pushed to the surface of the water mirror, which makes them easy to remove mechanically. Shortly after application, dead algae can be harvested with a landing net. Pozostałe algae residues are broken down by the special strains of bacteria contained in the preparation. The product is colorless, and the active substance (hydrogen peroxide) is broken down into water and oxygen after a few hours, does not contain heavy metals and organic biocides, does not accumulate in living organisms.
By supplying large amounts of oxygen to water, the agent supports the work of aerobic bacteria responsible for the decomposition of sediments, dead algae or silt and additionally eliminates unpleasant odors.
Dosage
Recommended dosage: 30 – 50 g FadenalgenVernichter per 1.000 l of pond water.
Prophylactic dose: weekly 20 g FadenalgenVernichter per 1.000 l of pond water.
With a large accumulation of algae, a higher dose should be used. The dose depends on the amount of algae in the tank.
Application: Spread before noon over the entire surface or directly onto filamentous algae. Dead algae flowing to the surface of the reservoir should be collected with the help of a landing net.
Re-use may occur at the earliest after 3 days. FadenalgenVernichter can be used repeatedly during the season. Important: Do not spread directly on aquatic plants.
Please check the pH value during the application phase.
Söll FadenalgenVernichter can only be used if the pH value is lower than 8,5 and the carbonate hardness is higher than 50. In order to stabilize the pH value and carbonate hardness, we recommend Söll TeichFit®.
To protect the tank against algae regrowth after applying FadenalgenVernichter, use a phosphate absorbing agent Söll PLock AlgenStop and / or Söll ZeoSpeed
