🔄 How to set the antenna to receive MUX-8?

The TAMDEL TAZ-13 antenna has two dipoles:

• larger VHF dipole — for receiving MUX-8

• smaller UHF dipole — for receiving MUX-1 / MUX-2 / MUX-3 / MUX-4

In many regions, MUX-8 is broadcast in vertical polarization, therefore:

▶ Turn the larger VHF dipole o 90° — position it vertically.

▶ No need to rotate the entire antenna – just change the setting of the VHF element.

▶ Other UHF channels can still be received in horizontal polarity.

▶ Before installation, it is worth checking the direction of the transmitter and the polarity of the MUX-8.

🛠 Simple installation and connection

▶ Mount the antenna outside — preferably as high as possible, e.g. on the mast, balcony or facade.

▶ Position the antenna towards the nearest DVB-T / DVB-T2 transmitter.

▶ Connect the amplifier 20 dB to the antenna output.

▶ Connect the antenna cable, and at the end of the cable mount the power supply with separator.

▶ Connect the output from the separator to the TV or decoder.

▶ Enable automatic DVB-T / DVB-T2 channel search.
