The intelligence of this antenna relies on the patented "BOSS TECH" (Balanced Output Signal System) technology, which automatically regulates the output signal level. Televes applied its three European patents to this antenna, which m.in. They're supposed to defend this antenna from Chinese fakes. The antenna is made of metal elements - aluminium with a suitable tin cover. Plastic elements in yellow and white are made of very resistant ABS plastic. The whole was tested and certified in its own laboratory in Santiago de Compostela.

All innovative electronic parts from the DAT HD antenna are fully built-in, which means that noise is significantly reduced, which improves the signal/noise ratio in the UHF band. The antenna electronics were secured to achieve better elimination of interference from other bands (GSM). In this way, gain has been optimized to better support the imbalance signal to the antenna and improve the signal/noise ratio throughout the band.

Most importantly, all elements of the BOSS TECH and the dipole of the DAT HD antenna are connected and grounded. The concept of building a DAT HD antenna makes it electromagnetically one of the safest antennas on the European market.
