The history of the Silver Cross brand began in 1877, when British inventor and engineer William Wilson built his first model of trolley in a small plant in Yorkshire on Silver Cross street. This model has been recognized as a prototype of modern strollers as we know them today.

At the turn of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, Silver Cross was the main manufacturer of strollers for the English royal family. First, the high-quality trolleys were used by King George VI and then Queen Elizabeth II. In 1948, the brand designed a special model of a stroller for Prince Charles. During this time, Silver Cross called “Rolls Royce” among strollers created many other models of strollers and became recognizable all over the world. In 1960, Silver Cross became the UK’s leading manufacturer of strollers. In 1980 Silver Cross became one of the largest European manufacturers of prams. And the launch of the original Wayfarer resulted in the sale of more than 1 million models of the trolley in ten years.

Silver Cross Wave is the latest installment of the popular Wave model. Specialists worked on improving the trolley in many aspects.

Wave is a 2-in-1 stroller with a travel system (possibility of attaching a car seat) from Silver Cross.

The stroller is designed for the safety and comfort of the newborn, but also for the future and the growing family.

Innovative One plus One ® System transforms a single Silver Cross Wave stroller into a double stroller, without needing to buy a second stroller.

The set includes the frame, 2x bassinet and 2x seat unit, which can be configured in seven ways – with the bassinet in the standard or elevated position, with the seat unit facing forward or backward, and also with the seat unit facing forward or backward but in the elevated position.

Additional car seat(s) are available for separate purchase. With additional components, the Wave stroller can be set up in 30 different combinations, adapting the stroller for twins or siblings.

Special adapters, sold separately, are required to attach the Simplicity car seat in tandem position or car seats from other brands.

The Wave 2021 walking seat is inverted and adjustable. They can be plugged in front or rear facing. The stroller can be positioned in three comfortable positions, including a comfortable lying position. The footrest is independently adjustable. The walking seat can also be mounted in an elevated position, i.e. closer to the parent.

The Silver Cross Wave stroller has many amenities for the child, including a ventilated gondola, ensuring air circulation and maintaining the right temperature.

The gondola has a flat backrest that is safe for the newborn's back, allowing the child to sleep in it throughout the night, e.g. during departure. Inside the gondola there is a comfortable bamboo mattress. The bamboo material is breathable and antibacterial, making it perfect for your newborn.

The booth and leg cover fit both the gondola and the stroller, will provide protection for the child during various weather conditions.

Adjustable booth with visor, covered with UPF 50+ filter and lockable ventilation panels helps maintain the right temperature inside the stroller during hot weather.

The Silver Cross Wave 2021 is also comfortable for parents. It folds and unfolds very easily, has removable wheels, so it takes up very little space when folded. The frame is made of magnesium and aluminum alloy, making it light and durable at the same time. The wheels in the Wave trolley are puncture-resistant, trouble-free and maintenance-free – foam.
