The xTool mBot2 V1.0 educational robot is a STEM kit designed to learn programming, robotics and learning about issues related to artificial intelligence, IoT and data analysis. Its control center is CyberPi with ESP32 microprocessor, and the equipment includes, among others, a microphone and light sensor built into CyberPi, an external ultrasonic sensor Ultrasonic Sensor 2, a quad RGB sensor and precise motors with encoders. The robot can follow the line, detect obstacles, respond to light and sound, and make precisely programmed movements. ⭐CyberPi – control, programming and communication⭐

CyberPi uses the ESP32 microprocessor and is responsible for programming and robot communication. Support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB connection gives you several options to work with the set, depending on the device used and the project prepared. mBot2 works with block programming, which makes it easier to learn the principles of algorithm creation, as well as with Python, allowing you to gradually move to more advanced coding. The available software enables learning on computers and mobile devices, thanks to which the robot can be used both at home and during educational activities.

⭐Sensors to respond to the environment⭐

The external Ultrasonic Sensor 2 is responsible for detecting objects and distances, so you can create programs that allow the robot to respond to obstacles that appear in front of it. Quad RGB Sensor uses four sensors to recognize colors and lines, enabling both basic and more advanced scenarios to follow the designated route. Functions related to light and sound detection are implemented by elements located directly in CyberPi – a built-in light sensor and microphone. This solution allows you to combine data from different sources and create projects in which the behavior of the robot depends on changes in its environment.

⭐ Precise movement and expandability⭐

mBot2 uses motors with encoders that measure rotation with an accuracy of 1°, which makes it easier to control the direction, distance traveled and programmed maneuvers. The speed of the motors can reach 200 rpm. /min, which is why the robot is suitable for both calm exercises with precise movement, as well as more dynamic projects. mBot2 Shield allows you to connect external components, including elements compatible with the Makeblock ecosystem, which gives you the opportunity to further develop the structure. Thanks to this, the set can be used not only to perform ready-made exercises, but also to build your own projects during STEM classes, in makerspace studios or at home.
