Electric sharpener from the renowned NAC company designed for sharpening all types of cutting chains used in combustion and electric saws. It is equipped with an electric motor with a power of 250 W allowing to achieve a grinding wheel rotation speed of 8400 rpm.
The grinding disc with dimensions of 100 x 3.2 x 10 mm has a specially selected granulation so that it does not overheat the sharpened material. The use of such a device allows for very accurate and precise sharpening of the chain, while maintaining the same parameters for each cutting cell. Such a sharpened chain has no "rebounds", works evenly and "does not pull" to the sides when cutting.
The sharpener features chain tension adjustment and a precise scale that allows you to sharpen each link in a repeatable manner. It is equipped with a rotating vise with adjustable sharpening angle (35 degree rotation angle) and a grinding depth limiter.
The motor power, rotational speed and abrasive granulation of the disc have been selected so that during sharpening, the chain links do not heat up too much, which could lead to their hardening and thus loss of their hardness and sharpness.
The metal base of the device has holes adapted to fix it on a fixed stationary surface. In the upper part of the housing, a handle is mounted, with which we control the sharpening head.
