GRINDING MECHANISMS PEUGEOT

Peugeout grinders use proprietary grinding mechanisms dedicated to different types of spices.

Salt grinders can be used to grind coarse, sea and stone salt.

Pepper grinders are equipped with a special mechanism with a spiral shape of heaters, guaranteeing optimal introduction of grains and their grinding. In addition, a special patented system of protection of grinding heaters against corrosion is used.

Setting the grinding thickness in PEUGEOT grinders can be done either through traditional smooth adjustment or in the case of grinders with u'Select mechanism by selecting one of 6 degrees of grinding thickness. Depending on the thickness of the grinding degree, we strengthen the intensity with thicker grinding or the aroma with finer.

WHAT PEPPER SHOULD I USE?

To take full advantage of the precision of the grinding mechanism, Peugeot suggests using peppercorns with a diameter of 6 mm and less. Black, white and green pepper can be freely used, pink pepper can be ground as long as its grains constitute no more than 15% of the mixture. Also, dried cilantro can be ground in pepper grinders.

WHAT SALT SHOULD I USE?

Salt grinders are designed to grind dry table salt with crystals of not more than 4 mm. The mechanism prevents it from grinding into dust and clogging the grinder.

Grinders dedicated to wet sea salt are also available.
