KD11727 is an electric heater with a fan (farelka) with a power of 2500 W, powered from a standard 230V socket. The device works without burning fuel, which means no emissions and water vapor – a feature particularly important when used in poorly ventilated enclosed spaces.

Characteristics of the device

Stainless steel heater with thermal protection

The heating element made of stainless steel is characterized by resistance to corrosion and thermal deformation. Built-in overheating protection turns off the heater if the permissible operating temperature is exceeded, which protects the device from damage.

Fan forcing air circulation

The built-in fan pumps air through the heating chamber, increasing the expenditure of warm air compared to convection heaters. The result is faster temperature equalization in the room.

Built-in thermostat

The thermostat allows you to set the desired operating temperature. When the room reaches the set value, the device switches to standby mode and resumes heating after its drop. This reduces unnecessary electricity consumption.

Power adjustment and compact design

Application

An emission-free electric heater can be used wherever the use of liquid or gaseous fuel equipment is excluded. The power of 2,5 kW is sufficient for heating rooms with an area of up to approx. 20 to 25 m² at standard ceiling height (depending on insulation and external temperature).

What to look for when choosing power

Approximate rule: 1 kW of heating power falls on approx. 8 to 10 m² well insulated room. The 2,5 kW heater works well in spaces up to approx. 20 to 25 m². In non-insulated rooms (garages, halls) or at low external temperatures, the effective heating surface will be smaller. In such cases, it is worth considering higher-power models or use several devices.

Use and maintenance

The device is connected to a standard 230V socket. Before the first start-up, make sure that the electrical circuit is protected by a fuse of the appropriate intensity – at 2500 W, the current consumption is approx. 10,9 A, which requires a socket and cable adapted to at least 16 A.

During operation, a minimum distance from flammable materials (at least 1 m at the front of the air outlet) should be maintained. Air inlet and outlet grilles should remain uncovered. After use, it is recommended to clean the inlet grille from dust, which prevents the reduction of air flow and the risk of overheating.
