ECH is an electric duct heater without built-in automation. The heating power regulation of the heater can be implemented via an external HRK controller. ECH heaters are adapted for installation in round channels. They are available in typical ventilation diameters from 100 to 500 mm and powers from 0,3 to 24,0 kW.

CONSTRUCTION

The heater housing is made of steel sheet covered with high-quality Alucynkowy coating, which guarantees high corrosion resistance. Connection connectors are made in negative tolerance and have EPDM gasket. The heating elements are made of AISI 304 stainless steel. The junction box has a degree of protection IP44.

INSTALLATION

Heaters can be mounted in any position except in the downward facing junction box position. If there is a possibility of accidental contact with heating elements, appropriate covers should be used. The speed of air flowing through the heater must not be less than 1,5 m/s. The flow of explosive or aggressive gases is prohibited. Heaters can only be used to heat clean air. ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

The electrical connection must be made by a qualified electrician, in accordance with applicable national and international regulations. The power source and power cord must match the data on the heater rating plate. The circuit breaker shall be selected according to the technical data. The heater must be grounded.

APPLICATION

Duct heaters are used to heat clean air in domestic ventilation systems, especially in autumn and winter, as well as in industrial installations that require a constant temperature of the supplied air. ECH heaters also work well as pre-heaters or secondary heaters, complementing installations based on ventilation units with heat recovery.
