Peugeot grinders use proprietary grinding mechanisms dedicated to different types of spices. Salt grinders can be used to grind coarse, sea and stone salt with granulation up to 4 mm. Pepper grinders are equipped with a special mechanism with a spiral shape of heaters, guaranteeing optimal introduction of grains and their grinding.

The setting of the grinding thickness in the PEUGEOT grinders can be done either by traditional smooth adjustment by tightening the knob at the top of the body, or in the case of grinders with the uSelect mechanism, by selecting one of 6 degrees of grinding thickness (1 for the smallest, 6 for the thickest).

The responsible pro-ecological policy of Peugeot means that the wood used for the production of mills is PEFC certified, and mostly comes from the local forests of the Franche-Comte region. Only solvent-free paints and varnishes, friendly to health and the environment, are used for painting the bodies. Peugeot mills are products produced with respect for the environment.
