Cognita Tab 6 supports Legimi and Empik Go!!!

At the heart of the Cognity Tab 6 is the Cortex-A35 4-core processor with 1GB of RAM.

The reader has a 6” eink screen with Carta technology with a built-in touch panel and smart LED backlight with color adjustment. It impresses with practicality, ease of touch operation, lightness and versatility.

Internal memory 32GB will accommodate a whole lot of books - forget about the suitcases weighted with them.

If you need more space, the Cognita Tab 6 also has a microSD card reader with support for cards with a capacity of up to 256GB.

The built-in Wi-Fi module facilitates connection to the Internet and allows file transfer without the use of a cable.

Bluetooth module is an ideal partner if you want to listen to audiobooks or music.

Thanks to open Android version 8.1, you can upload other apps for reading books, listening to audiobooks or news channels.

With a 6” screen with the latest E-Ink Carta technology, reading is a pleasure. The new screen has better contrast and a whiter background. With improved refresh rates, you can read more pages without sacrificing quality without blinking the screen.

The eink screen with 16-degree grayscale, imitates the effect of traditional printing on paper. 1024x758, 212 ppi resolutions provide super comfortable reading without eye strain. The text is clear and easy to read.

Touch panel with anti-reflective coating

The Cognity Tab 6 touch panel is covered with a special anti-reflective coating, thanks to which you can read books even in full sun. Touch screen provides intuitive, easy operation of the device.

Key at the bottom of the panel in a convenient way allows you to quickly return to the previous menu or close the function window.

Screen backlighting

Bemi Cognita Tab 6 has a built-in smart LED backlight that allows not only adjustable brightness but also color.

The reader has a set of LEDs with cold color and warm light (blue and yellow).

Depending on your preferences, you can set your own composition by “mixing” colors.

In addition, the reader has default settings for reading during the day, at night and in bed.

Formats of books

Cognita Tab 6 supports most available e-book formats such as PDF (Reflow), epub, MOBI (mobipocket), FB2, FB2.ZIP, AZW, AZW3, CHM, PRC, DOC, DOCX, TXT, HTM, HTML, RTF.

In addition, it displays graphic files in the following formats: JPG, BMP, PNG and audio: mp3, OGG, FLAC, WAV, AAC.

PDF Reflow

Cognita Tab 6 supports a very useful Reflow function for PDF files. Reflow is a flow, i.e. breaking the content of a PDF file so that it is read as text as in a file, e.g. epub or fb2. The text automatically adjusts to the size of the page and thus the reading is pleasant and comfortable. The text can be further enlarged, which is impossible when reading the original PDF file.

TTS – text-to-speech conversion

TTS – ang. “text to speech”, or “text to speech” – is a speech synthesizer or function that allows you to convert written text into sound. With this feature, Cognita Tab 6 allows you to turn your book into an audiobook.

This feature is especially useful for people who like to listen to audiobooks, want to deepen their knowledge, language skills, or want to perform multiple tasks at once while enjoying their books.

Cognita Tab 6 supports speech synthesizer in 10 languages: Polish, English, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Japanese and Korean.

Dictionary/Translator

Cognita Tab 6 has built-in dictionary functions (stardict format) and a translator with many languages to choose from. The translator supports the translation of single words as well as entire paragraphs or pages.

The device also allows you to check the word in Wikipedia.

Library of Books

Cognita Tab 6 allows you to display your library as tiles with book covers or a list of files, both in internal memory and on a memory card if it was placed in a reader.

In addition to the name of the book/file, we can preview the file format (list) and the % of the book read.

The library can be viewed by category: All Books, Recently Read, Recently Added, Read and Unread.

Additionally, you can sort the library, perform package actions, create a new folder, search for a book, or refresh the library directly from the home screen.

Functions when reading

Cognita Tab 6 has an extensive list of available functions and settings when reading books as in advanced readers on the market.

Features such as:

Dictionary, Translator, Wikipedia, Glossary, TTS, Background Change Mode, Refresh Mode, Reading Time Reminder, Progress Format.

The following settings are available:

Select words, selected text, Add bookmark, About book, Bookmark list, Table of contents, Go to page, Search, zoom, contrast, Reflow, Font size, Font type, Line spacing, Margins, Rotate screen, Auto page change.

Not every feature is available for every file format.

Footnotes

Cognita Tab 6 conveniently supports the footnote function. If the book has footnotes at the touch of a button on it, you can go to the footnote text.

Battery life

Bemi Cognita Tab 6 has a built-in 1900mAh battery. Once the battery is fully charged, the device can run up to 4 weeks*.

*In the following conditions: half an hour of reading per day, 30 seconds of average page change time, backlight set to the lowest level, wifi off, Bluetooth, set the shortest sleep time and automatic shutdown.
