The model has an E Ink Kaleido 3 touch screen with front backlight and color temperature control with Flicker Free system. ONYX BOOX Go Color 7 is based on an 8-core processor and 4 GB of RAM. The model runs on the Android 13 operating system and allows you to install and use third-party applications. The device has a Google Play app store, allowing you to download and install various third-party apps. The built-in dual-band Wi-Fi module provides Internet access and network services, while Bluetooth 5.0 support connects external devices and accessories.

Automatic screen rotation
The built-in G sensor automatically selects the correct text orientation when the device is rotated. With this option, you can change the orientation of the E reader and the image will be automatically rebuilt. The page-turn buttons on the right side of the device also change their functions depending on the orientation of the screen.
Multi-touch capacitive screen
The 7-inch E Ink Kaleido 3 screen is made with “electronic paper” technology. It allows you to read in full sun and is characterized by a high refresh rate of the screen. The absence of flickering front light and the principle of creating an image using the “electronic ink” method makes reading eye-friendly. The capacitive multi-touch screen provides user-friendly control when reading: turning pages with a short touch, moving the page, zooming by panning, selecting in text and using additional functions.
Additional screen protection
The protective ONYX glass applied to the E Ink screen protects it from scratches and other damage. The use of such glass made it possible to give up additional edges of the screen, thanks to which the screen merges with the body of the device. Thanks to this, working with this reader is more convenient and its appearance has become more modern. In addition, a special coating reduces the likelihood of glare on the screen.
ONYX Glass is a completely new generation of safety glasses from ONYX. Aluminosilicate glass has increased transparency and ensures no distortion of the original image. Glass is applied to the front light layer without air gap during the production of the display module. Instead of applying a matte layer that can reduce contrast, 5% digestion is used. It provides better protection against glare and does not hinder the transmission of light.
