Mechanism of operation and performance

The Philips 8000 series epilator uses a system of tweezers that perform more than 70 000 gripping movements per minute. Thanks to the wide head, the device removes hair from a larger area of skin with one swipe. The design allows you to depilate the lower parts of the legs in about 10 minutes, and the removal of hairs with bulbs limits their regrowth for up to 4 weeks.

Construction and service

The device has a contoured, ergonomic handle with an anti-slip layer, which allows you to work in wet (in the shower or bath) and dry conditions. A diode illuminating the depilated skin was built into the head. The epilator is battery-powered, allowing for wireless operation.

• Shaving head with trimming cap: Used to shave hairs against the skin itself or shorten them around the bikini.
