Futura 4S Plus TM01 Armchair

Futura 4S Plus is an improved version of the Futura 4S chair by Grospol, which is very popular among our customers.

The new version of the chair was made of the highest quality materials and equipped with adjustable backrest height, which expanded the already large range of ergonomic functions.

Another change is the headrest, which has an additional function in the form of adjustable depth of the head rest position.

The entire Futura family is characterized by a perfectly contoured backrest and seat.

3D HEADREST

The Futura 4S Plus chair has a practical adjustable headrest (3D) allowing for comfortable head support during work and moments of relaxation. The headrest is equipped with height, depth adjustment as well as rotational adjustment around the horizontal axis.

SUPPORT

The 4S Plus version has the ability to adjust the backrest height in the range of 65 mm and the ability to lock the height on six levels.

The backrest in the PLUS version is also great for users who have a height above 190 cm.

LUMBAR REGION

An integral part of the backrest is the profile of the lumbar part of the spine with adjustable height, which allows it to be adapted to the height of the User.

HANGER

The back of the backrest is equipped with a practical clothes hanger.

SEAT

The seat foam is produced in pouring technology, which significantly increases its durability and gives adequate elasticity even after several years of use.

The high ergonomic qualities of the chair are also confirmed by the adjustable seat depth (seat distance from the backrest), thanks to which the backrest functions will be available to both low and high users. With a single movement of the lever, you can move or zoom the seat away from or to the backrest.

The distinguishing feature of the Futura model is also the adjustment of the hardness (elasticity) of the central part of the seat, so that you can better adjust the properties of the seat to the expectations of the User. Adjustment is made using an aesthetic knob.

4D ARMRESTS

Adjustable (range 90 mm) height of 4D armrests allows for comfortable and ergonomic positioning of the forearm (90 degrees relative to the torso), which reduces tension of the back muscles during long work in a sitting position.

The armrest covers also have an adjustable angle. Pointing them inward makes it easier to type on the keyboard, while pointing them outward helps you get up from your chair. They also have a front-back adjustment of the armrest cover.

The chair is also equipped with adjustable armrest distance from the seat, which allows you to better adjust their position to the height of the user.

In total, the armrest of the Futura 4S Plus chair is adjustable in four planes.

MECHANISM

The chair is equipped with a very good movement mechanism Synchro SELF consisting in simultaneous movement ("swinginging") of the backrest and seat with the possibility of locking in each selected tilt position.

The movement of the backrest is faster and clearer than the movement of the seat.

The main advantage of such a mechanism is continuous contact of the backrest with the User's back. If the selected tilt position is not blocked, the backrest constantly follows the User’s back, guaranteeing them adequate support during operation.

The mechanism (SELF function) will adjust the resistance of the cradle to the weight of the User.

The "Anti-Shock" function prevents the backrest from hitting the User's back after releasing the selected recline position of the backrest.

The Synchro SELF mechanism also distinguishes the ergonomic tilt angle of the backrest relative to the seat, it has been improved compared to the previous version.

Smooth adjustment of the seat height is carried out by means of a pneumatic lift.

FABRIC

The backrest is upholstered with a durable and practical mesh that adapts properly to the User's back, while ensuring good air circulation (even in the summer months).

In the PLUS version we use a new mesh with the addition of fabric. Pleasant to the touch and use. Its resistance to abrasion is up to 150 thousand. Martindale cycles.

The seat is upholstered in TM01 fabric, which is extremely durable and pleasant to the touch. Provides good air circulation. It fits well on the seat, is easy to clean. It is not subject to "moving". Abrasion resistance is above 35 000 Martindal cycles. Fabric in black.

BASE

Lightweight, aluminum chassis, polished to chrome (glossy) is elegant and at the same time extremely durable and stable.

The standard equipment includes soft wheels that do not scratch hard surfaces (parquet, panels, terracotta). These wheels will also pass the exam on carpet surfaces.
