The PT-H500 is equipped with a large backlit display, a built-in keyboard and an automatic guillotine. The device allows printing on tapes with widths of 3.5, 6, 9, 12, 18 or 24 mm, and the offered maximum printing speed is 30 mm per second (using an AC power supply). The PT-H500 can be powered by AA batteries or, optionally, by an AC adapter or a replaceable lithium-ion battery.
P-touch H500 can print on Brother TZe tapes, which use the manufacturer's patented lamination technology, ensuring the scratch resistance of the carrier. Laminated TZe tapes consist of six layers, forming a thin and very durable label. The marks are applied by thermal transfer and placed between two protective layers of PET (polyester film). This solution protects them against liquids, friction, temperature, chemicals and sunlight. The conducted tests of tapes guarantee high quality and high strength. The tapes are also convenient to use – they are characterized by an easy to peel off protective layer and good adhesion.
