No, the printer works on a thermoprint basis. All you need is thermal paper.

❓Is the printer able to print e.g. in addition to printing courier labels? prices, qr codes, logos, etc?

Yes, the device is also able to print images, but at a resolution of 203 dpi they can not be complicated.
