This is not a backpack for a few thousand to survive a year in the jungle. This is the basic starter pack for a civilian to complete the full equipment recommended by the Government Security Center.

The backpack should not be too heavy a load. The attached equipment occupies only the smallest pocket (with a red zipper)! There is room for other medium-sized items. The included carabiners allow you to hang larger items (e.g. sleeping bag in a cover) to save space inside the backpack.

Map - preferably local, best purchased on your own

Other things such as masks/pharmacy/stasis/bags/soap or filter bottle - go to the pharmacy or drugstore. We also recommend choosing clothes or sleeping bags individually.

We also recommend purchasing more stock of proven AAA and AA batteries.
