A filter for the pool pump is required for its proper operation. To proceed with its installation (conducted by an adult), you need to disconnect the pump from the electrical supply. After unscrewing the top cover, simply remove the gasket and filter cover. Then carefully remove the cartridge and clean it with high pressure water, e.g. with a garden hose. In case the filter is still quite dirty, it should be replaced.
