Active silver ion technology

Our filter basket was made of a material containing active silver ions with bactericidal properties, confirmed by research carried out by Polish research institute. Silver ions help reduce the growth of bacteria and microorganisms, supporting the maintenance of a high level of water hygiene and the entire filtration system.

In combination with AG+ filter balls, they provide effective filtration of impurities and better water flow than traditional paper filters, which quickly become clogged. Thanks to this, the water stays clean and clear longer, and the pump can work at full capacity.

Better filtration and the properties of active silver ions help reduce consumption of pool chemistry, providing cleaner water, greater comfort use and lower operating costs.

Compatibility

The filter is a replacement for Type VI (60311) cartridges used in the Bestway® and Lay-Z-Spa® jacuzzi and filter pumps.

Matches m.in. for models: Miami, Palm Springs, Hawaii, Paris, Milan, St. Moritz, Helsinki, Maldives, Zurich, Cancun, Ibiza, Vancouver and other devices using Type VI (60311) cartridges.

Basket with active silver ions + balls

This combination will make your filtration system probably the most hygienic solution on the market. The duo of antibacterial housing with Ag+ and balls with silver ions is a hit that will radically change the operation of the jacuzzi.

Why is this combination a “synergy effect”?

1. Elimination of biofilm in the bud: Traditional paper filters in the jacuzzi need to be replaced very often (even every few days), because warm water stimulates the rapid growth of bacteria. Your Ag+ balls will constantly sterilize the flowing water, and the Ag+ housing will not allow slippery biofilm to settle on the walls of the basket.
2. No more odors: Bacteria developing on mechanical impurities retained in the filter are the main reason for the musty smell of water when the lid is opened. Active silver ions will block the putrefactive processes of organic residues (skin, cosmetics).
3. Less consumption of pool chemistry: Thanks to the continuous, mechanical and physical control of microorganisms by silver, you will notice less need for chlorine or active oxygen. Water will maintain perfect clarity longer.

Practical advice on how to use Ag+ balls in a printed basket:

• Do not stuff the balls too tightly: Place them in the printed basket loosely. The pump in MSpa has relatively little power. If you squeeze the balls, the water will encounter too much resistance, which will cause an error E1 (no water flow) on the jacuzzi control panel.
• Ball cleaning: Every 1 to 2 weeks, remove the balls from the basket and rinse them under running water. Once a month you can throw them in the washing machine (in a special mesh bag) for a short program (30°C) without the use of detergents and softeners that could cover the fibers and block silver ions.
