Polypropylene cartridge

The polypropylene cartridge Dafi is designed to filter water from mechanical impurities. Removes sand, fine slurries, fats, corrosion products, contaminants washed out of the surface of hydraulic installations.

Polypropylene filter is recommended to be placed at the beginning and end of the configuration of several DAFI flow filters.

Active carbon cartridge Dafi

Carbon filter removes chlorine and its compounds, organic impurities. Thanks to the use of granulated activated carbon from coconut shells, the taste of water improves, its coloration and unpleasant smell disappears. Before the activated carbon filter, it is recommended to use mechanical filtration (polypropylene cartridge DAFI). Thanks to this, the more expensive carbon cartridge does not clog with mechanical contaminants.

The carbon cartridge should be replaced when its efficiency decreases or when the organoleptic properties of water deteriorate. .

Contribution with Dafi ion exchange resin

The filter cartridge with ion exchange resin softens water by removing calcium and magnesium ions causing its hardness. Excessive hardness of water is the cause of the formation of boiler stone on the heating elements of washing machines, dishwashers, electric kettles and other household appliances, it also causes greater consumption of means used for washing and washing. The service life of the resin cartridge shall end when the ion exchange capacity of the deposit is exhausted. It depends on the hardness and amount of filtered water.

An ion exchange resin filter is recommended for medium hard water.
