A line of fountain pumps designed to drive AQUAEL pond filters in medium-sized ponds. A double mechanical pre-filter protects them from clogging, significantly extending the period between maintenance work. They can also work outside the pond.

High-performance AQUAJET PFN garden pumps are designed for pumping water in garden ponds, fountains, cascades, water features and home swimming pools. They can also be used for other purposes, e.g. in gardening, on household and agricultural farms, in fish and other animal breeding, on construction sites, etc. The pumps can also operate in salt water.

Description of operation

AQUAJET PFN pumps are driven by a waterproof, low-maintenance synchronous motor. The ceramic rotor axis is virtually wear-free and ensures the longevity of the pump. Thanks to the use of a ceramic rotor axis in AQUAJET PFN pumps, they are characterized by exceptionally quiet operation. A large plastic pre-filter protects the pump impeller from contamination, so it does not require frequent cleaning. Thanks to their simple construction, they are easy to operate.

The pump should be completely submerged in the water tank. If the impeller stops, the inlet or outlet becomes clogged due to contamination, or if the pump runs dry, the thermal switch installed in the pump will disconnect it from the mains until it cools down. The switch is on automatically.

Despite their relatively small dimensions, the pumps provide high efficiency and lifting height. This is the result of the use of modern, energy-efficient motors and high-quality seals under the rotor chamber, which reduce efficiency losses to a minimum.

Usage

The pump can be used in swimming pools provided there is no one in the water. The AQUAJET PFN pump can only be used for liquids with a temperature up to 35°C.

It is enough to clean the rotor seat once a month. To prevent a drop in pump performance, clean the filter cartridge by rinsing it in water taken from the pond, which does not destroy the bacterial flora in the sponge and prevents a decrease in biological filtration efficiency. The frequency of rinsing the cartridge depends on the degree of water contamination and should be carried out when there is a significant decrease in pump performance.

The AQUAJET PFN series pumps are manufactured in accordance with currently applicable safety standards. The pump may only be connected to the mains via a socket with a protective contact. The plug should be connected to a mains socket located in a dry place. Before any operation related to the pump – assembly, cleaning, disconnect the mains plug from the socket.
