The Mercedes-AMG F1 W16 is a car for the 2025 season, which is to be the answer to the problems of its predecessor from last year and the beginning of a new chapter.
Engineers rebuilt each aerodynamic element by introducing a modified front wing, redesigned side air intakes and a new front suspension to improve the free-turn behaviour and balance of the tires the W15 was having trouble with.
A big curiosity is the fact that the W16 is the first Mercedes car to use innovative, more sustainable carbon fibre composites, which is supposed to reduce the environmental impact without sacrificing performance.
