PhosSorb is a mineral preparation that helps to keep water reservoirs in good condition throughout the season and protect them well for the winter. Extremely effective phosphate adsorbent, which clearly inhibits the growth and development of algae in any body of water. Within 6 weeks of action, the preparation reduces the level of phosphates in water below the algal determining value (0,030 mg/l). By reducing the formation of bottom sediments, PhosSorb also prevents the accumulation of silt and the formation of sludge in water bodies. The preparation is safe for people, the environment and biological life.

How to use PhosSorb?

The preparation should be administered in the amount of 1 kg per 20 000 liters of water, preferably in the period before winter and after winter, when the highest concentration of phosphates occurs in the tanks. Spread PhosSorb evenly over the entire surface of the water. When applying PhosSorb, you can leave the filters and UV lamp on. If a new dose of phosphate is constantly entering the water reservoir, e.g. When overfeeding fish or with surface water flowing down, use the preparation regularly every 8 weeks.

Remember that:

the effect of PhosSorb may be limited by an excessively high pH level of water exceeding 8,8;

an overdose of PhosSorb may result in an increase in the pH of the water.
