M.ZUIKO DIGITAL 14-150 mm f/4.0-5.6 II is the second edition of the universal zoom lens. The focal range 14-150 (equivalent to focal length 28-300 in full-frame cameras) is ideal for situations where we do not want to waste time changing the lens. This universal zoom can be used for both wide-angle shots and close-ups of distant objects. Perfect for hiking or holiday trips.

Features of the lens

Excellent quality optics

The lens was built with 15 elements in 11 groups. Thanks to the use of three aspherical elements and one ED (low-dispersion) glass element, it guarantees a low level of optical errors and high image resolution. Some elements have been coated with Olympus ZERO (ZUIKO Extra-low Reflection Optical) to eliminate flares and sprites. Thanks to this, even when shooting against the light, errors will be minimized giving high quality photos.

Sealed housing

The lens has been adapted to work in harsh weather conditions – thanks to seals, it can be used together with resistant O-MD cameras in humid, cold or dusty environments.

Universality of applications

Fast and quiet focusing

This lens uses a very quiet worm movement system with MSC lenses, which ensures extremely quiet AF operation even during filming. This allows you to record the highest quality video without unnecessary sounds.

Little weight and dimensions

M.ZUIKO DIGITAL 14-150 mm f/4.0-5.6 II despite its enormous versatility can also boast a light weight (only 285 grams) and size. The length in the retractable position is only 83 mm. Combined with OM-D or PEN cameras, it will therefore be a compact set that you can always have with you.

Sharpness from 50 cm

The minimum distance from which it is possible to focus is only 50 cm. At maximum focal length, this gives the effect of a large approximation, so this model can be used for macro-style photos.
