SHAPTON K0702 Sharpening Water Stone, 1000 Grit
A series of traditional water stones with grits ranging from 120 to 30000. Each stone, in addition to its individual product code, is also identifiable by a unique color. This allows for quick stone selection during knife sharpening. The stones are packaged in special protective plastic cases that also serve as a base.
The specially developed "Splash & Go" technology prevents the stone from absorbing excessive water. This allows you to generously spray the stone with water for subsequent knife sharpening, without needing to soak it for a long time again.
Only during the first use of a KUROMAKU stone should it be soaked in water for about 6 minutes.
Stones from the KUROMAKU series can be used with either water or special sharpening oil. However, please note that if you choose oil as the medium to keep the stones moist, you will not be able to switch back to spraying the stones with water.
