INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

1. Dip the stone in lightly salted water for 10 minutes.
2. Place the stone on a bamboo base with a rubber grip on a flat surface.
3. Pin the guide to the knife and use a 400 grit side for rough grinding at a 10-30 degree angle for about 15 minutes.
4. Then use a 1000 grit page for fine grinding for about 10 minutes.
5. Use a 3000 grit side for gentle grinding at a 10-30 degree angle for 15 minutes.
6. Then use a 8000 grit page for mirror polishing for 10 minutes.
7. Use a leather strap to polish the blade and remove burrs.
8. Use a flattening stone to make the water stones flat.
9. Keep some water on the stone to keep cool.
10. After sharpening the knife, clean it with a damp cloth or water, then dry it.
11. Use a soft brush to clean the stone, then place it in a ventilated place to dry.
