How does ARC work?

If you want to connect your device via the HDMI ARC port, you need to find an HDMI port marked ARC on your TV, e.g. HDMI 2 (ARC).

Connect the extractor to the TV using an HDMI cable (also supporting ARC, i.e. it must be HDMI 2.0 or higher) via a port marked HDMI OUTPUT ARC

Then connect the cable through one of the audio outputs (minijack or Toslink port) connect the audio device on which you want to get sound.

You may need to activate the ARC feature in your TV settings, but this is not the rule :)
