The JVC TH-E741 enables a wide range of applications with multiple audio inputs. The most important of these is the HDMI input with eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel) function. For the best sound transmission quality, including the ability to use Dolby Atmos, we recommend connecting your TV to the soundbar using an HDMI cable. Thanks to HDMI CEC, the soundbar turns on/off at the same time as the TV and can be controlled using the TV remote control.
An optical audio cable is also the recommended option for connecting between the soundbar and the TV using an optical input.
Music can be conveniently transferred to the soundbar using Bluetooth technology, for example from a mobile device. The soundbar supports Bluetooth version 5.1 and supports A2DP and AVRCP profiles. A nice addition is support for playing MP3 files from external USB drives up to 32 GB, as well as the ability to use the AUX-IN input.
