For the function to work properly, we will need:

• devices are properly connected
• TV settings are correct

It is a technology that can make life easier primarily for home theater enthusiasts, because thanks to it we will get rid of unnecessary cables or additional sources of device control.

This feature allows us to transmit an audio signal from the TV without additional wires connecting the TV/monitor to the soundbar, which positively affects cable management. In addition, thanks to this technology - one remote control is enough to manage multiple devices.

However, if your device is not equipped with HDMI ARC, then the signal from the player (terrestrial or satellite decoder, game console, DVD and other similar devices) is sent to the TV or monitor, but the audio device connected to the usual HDMI port - is not able to reproduce sound. Then you will be required to connect the device via one of several other installed ports.
