While many of us crave home theater, there is no room to place even a few speakers, and the cost of a large audio system far exceeds the budget. However, this does not mean that you should lose hope and give up your dreams of great sound – soundbars will do their job. Compact, convenient and delivering much better sound than built-in TV speakers. SVEN SB-2035 is a living confirmation of this fact.

The soundbar housing is extremely compact – only 610×54×102 mm but includes 78×40 mm speakers – much larger than the vast majority of TVs. They deliver high-quality sound over a wide range from 80 to 20 000 Hz, and you won’t have any audio quality issues because the total system power is an impressive 40W RMS. Three settings of the built-in equalizer allow you to adjust the sound to the content being played: movies, music or messages, where the main emphasis should be on the voice of the voiceover.

The soundbar can be mounted on a TV stand or on a wall – for this purpose there are special holders. The list of options for connecting audio sources is amazingly diverse, which is not typical for budget devices. The most important is the HDMI input with reverse audio channel (ARC) support – this is the most convenient way to connect the SVEN SB-2035 to the TV.

But that’s not all: there’s also a digital optical input, analog Aux, and even a wireless Bluetooth connection, so you can connect almost any audio source to your soundbar, from your gaming console to your smartphone. You don’t need any other devices to listen to your favorite music – just plug your audio storage device into the USB port on the back panel and use the built-in player.

The kit comes with its own remote control, but with HDMI CEC support, you can also adjust the volume and turn on the soundbar with the TV remote – it’s usually much more convenient. You can also change the basic settings with a small panel at the end of the case. Developers at SVEN have managed to create a compact yet versatile device that can seriously improve the sound quality of your TV.
